The Company: Zentrum was established 1985 in Berkeley CA. It thrives on it’s owners’ keen sense of affordable style, proving that more style does not equal more money. The Stores: Owners William Stewart and Inge Brust have dreamed up an inspiring environment that is always worth the trip. Their spacious, personality packed , West Berkeley stores offer handpicked furnishings up close and personal. Stock changes constantly.

The Furniture: Exotic, Eclectic, Mediterranean, and Mission. Lovingly handcrafted from solid, non-endangered hardwoods. Some of it was built in 1900, some in 2000, and others just very recently developed from Zentrum’s latest designs. New: Sofas, chairs, and sectionals! Great collection of TV Armoires. Plus gifts and accessories that can be mixed or matched and gorgeous architectural finds. All items are bought off the floor and ready for immediate pick up or delivery (see Services). The Prices: eliminating middlemen through direct buying and imports allow us to offer great values all year long. This Website is designed to be a convenient tool in sampling some of our most popular and interesting collections. It is by no means complete. Although the products shown in the photos represent our furniture very well, many are one-of-a-kind, and once sold, cannot be re-ordered. The exceptions are the Rosewood, Rivoli, and Chelsea Collections, which are commissioned by Zentrum and, although constantly evolving, readily available. Also, mosaic tables and bistro chairs are in stock, though colors, sizes, and designs may differ.
